L'Heure BleueTokyo City Ballet

L’Heure Bleue was created for North Carolina Dance Theatre and later presented at other gala evenings. Otto Bubeníček’s staging, stage and costume design create an atmosphere of fading light, reflection and suspended time.

In 2015, Les Ballets Bubeníček were invited to perform at the New Theatre in Plzeň as part of the city's programme as the European Capital of Culture. The company presented a double bill featuring L'heure Bleue and the one-act story ballet The Piano.

This production was presented by Tokyo City Ballet as part of the Bubeníček International Ballet Gala at Divadlo Hybernia in Prague on 16 and 17 August 2025.
