The PianoDortmund Ballet
The Piano was first created for Ballett Dortmund at Theater Dortmund. Otto Bubeníček contributed staging, music arrangement, stage design and projections for a one-act version of this haunting story of silence, desire, landscape and emotional conflict.

In 2015, Les Ballets Bubeníček were invited to perform at the New Theatre in Plzeň as part of the city's programme as the European Capital of Culture. The company presented a double bill featuring L'heure Bleue and the one-act story ballet The Piano.
