The PianoRoyal New ZealandBallet
The Piano was created as a full-length production for the Royal New Zealand Ballet at the Opera House in Wellington. Otto Bubeníček contributed staging, music arrangement, stage design and projections, returning the story to its New Zealand landscape of silence, love and memory.

In 2015, Les Ballets Bubeníček were invited to perform at the New Theatre in Plzeň as part of the city's programme as the European Capital of Culture. The company presented a double bill featuring L'heure Bleue and the one-act story ballet The Piano.
